Did you know that literally anyone can call themselves a voice teacher?
In fact, many singing teachers have little to no training, outside of taking some lessons from another singing teacher.
And of those singing teachers who have had structured training, less than 10% have studied the basics of vocal anatomy that are the foundation for everything you should, and shouldn’t be doing to your voice.
“Who knew I could sing this good?
I’ve studied a lot of different methods but this is the first time I’ve learned so much.
What I love about The Voice Club Method is that I actually sing better AND faster!”
THE VOICE CLUB METHOD
—The Birth of a New Way to Approach Learning
It all started with one very frustrated professional singer who, after training in every major training style and spending thousands of dollars, still couldn’t find a quick, effective, easy to understand way to improve her voice and fix the things you don’t want people to hear.
Kim Snyder, a studio vocalist from age 15 and gigging singer at 16 found that instead of making her voice better, each different type of instruction just made her sound like someone else, resulted in new problems and in the end made her more insecure.
It was when she discovered a speech based theory that she finally started finding answers to her questions. The only problem was the student level information was more of a ‘do this’ than a ‘this is why’. So she became a certified instructor to access the highest level of learning.
Problem #2: Studying the concepts and sitting through expensive master classes was more like being a fly on the wall of high brow philisophical discussions that go right over the flies head.
She now knew there was an answer. And she was pretty sure she’d never understand it in a way that she could instantly put it into practice and see results by the next gig.
Shear desperation was the driving force for years of meticulous notes and 3-ring binders of research to be sprawled across the floor as she tried to boil 23 letter words down to verbiage used by common man. And then make sense of it. And then make it simpler.
She combined those condensed complex analytical concepts with the years of trial by fire performing and vocal styling knowledge she gained performing for audiences of 1 to 50,000.
Initially designed for own personal use, other singers started hearing the difference the method had made in her voice and asked to learn more. Testing began and after a year the results for every singer had regardless of ‘talent’ or experience were amazing.
What was hard to sing became “so EASY!” Vocal damage was repaired, Ranges doubling, They not only sang better, but they now had a map to follow to get their own voices ‘better, FASTER! . And a new level of vocal control emerged beyond ‘the mix’: vocal balance;
